Well, last week I had my son home for a week and I also had my annual Trading Standards Visit to check my labelling and paperwork was all up to date - which it was. Very little was done, but I managed to make a couple of soap loaves ready to be shipped up to one of our new stockists in bonnie Scotland as well as restock another stockist in Hull.
Find out more about No. 26 and Catinthesack by checking out our stockists page.
I would like to apologise for not getting any blog posts out to you last week, time just didn't slow down anywhere near enough for my liking so it ran out before I had chance!
As always the first week of the month is spent planning the rest of the month between making and completing records and this week is no exception. I have The Druid's Pantry to ship out in 8 days and, although I have started packing them up, I am running slightly more behind than normal (notice how I worded that statement).
I also have a loaf of soap to make for Moth at Druid & the Witch as well as a host of samples for a possible new online stockist in Wakefield, so whilst trying not to get excited about that, I am feeling rushed off my feet!
The wonderful Dan has promised to set up an RSS feed for the blog this week too so hopefully that will all be sorted out by the end of the week (or tonight if I nag enough) ... watch this space.
Oh and before I forget I will also be working on shampoo bars. Plain bars to be tested by my willing (human) guinea pigs and I will also be checking out the requirements for pet products as this is definitely something I would like to do as I make them for my animals already.
Anywhoo, I am off now to package and label some products and wait for the delivery man to arrive with some darning needles. It is also the month I start making Yule/Christmas products (Halloween/Samhain products started weeks ago), but don't panic! They won't be listed until closer to the time!
Have a great week and don't forget to leave reviews on the website for products you have tried!
