The Morrigan's Path

The Druid's Kitchen Special Offers but two soaps get free wax melts

The Morrigan's Path activated charcoal soap is one of my more complex recipes, It contains a plethora of ingredients chosen to remove dirt and grease from your pores then clean them and encourage them to shrink.

The Morrigan's Path activated charcoal soap is also ideal for gardeners, mechanics and anyone who comes in from work or play a different colour to when they left. My husband is a tree surgeon and uses my charcoal soap to remove tree and conifer sap as well as oil when he has serviced his chainsaws on my living room floor!

The Important Ingredients:

Activated Charcoal is thought to draw dirt, grime, grease, poisons and chemicals from your pores and has been proven to absorb thousands of time its own mass. It is considered to be an essential tool in fighting acne too.

Fuller’s Earth Clay is often paired with activated charcoal due to the skincare benefits it is renowned for. It is thought to absorb the excess oil that is drawn out by the activated charcoal, improve elasticity and complexion as well as being thought to fight acne.

Apple Cider Vinegar is widely used to remove toxins from the skin, reduce age spots, fight wrinkles and fight acne, spots and pimples. It was a no-brainer to include this in The Morrigan's Path.

Cocoa and Mango Butters are used to counter the possible drying effects of the other ingredients in the soap and as a bonus, they are also used in many anti-ageing products as they are considered to help reduce the appearance of wrinkles.

Avocado Oil is an essential ingredient in products designed to help fight acne as it contains vitamins A, D and E which are known to help protect skin from the damage caused by spots and acne. It is also thought to reduce the itching that can be caused by skin conditions.

Castor Oil is used in The Morrigan's Path to provide a rich and stable lather, resulting in a luxurious feel to you facial soap.

Tea Tree Oil is stage two of The Morrigan's Path. It provides antibacterial properties and is widely used to cleanse the skin and clean away the dirt and grime removed by the activated charcoal and is thought to help reduce scarring caused by spots and acne.

Vitamin E encourages the natural healing of the skin so if vital for any facial soap.
